Often when someone is looking for therapy, there’s a lingering doubt over whether they picked the right person or if there was a better option.  Often, people looking for therapy for the first time don’t know what to expect or what type of therapy suites their situation the best.  At Become The Way Psychotherapy, we hope to dispel some of the mystery by offering a broad range of specialties from a unique group of diverse therapists.  We also offer consultations upon request to help you with linking with the right clinical approach, even if that’s pointing you at another practice.

Founder Spotlight: Carl Chinn

Therapy can take many forms and each clinical approach often reaches for different goals to try to help you.  Venting styles help people to reflect a searching light into their private life to try to get meaningful insight to move forward with their lives.  Coping-focused therapists empower their clients to have a toolbox of skills to take control of their feelings in the midst of trying circumstances.  And Processing therapists set you up to become the aspirational version of yourself by actively growing beyond who you currently are.  Though I’m a Processing therapist myself, and most clients who work with me succeed at their goals, it’s not the right language for everyone.  Platforming a team of fellow clinicians who speak different languages to address the different challenges people face has been and continues to be a privilege!
